|| Krass ||Raised in Ul'dah, this Xaela is only just recently coming to rediscover his tribal roots through Mesta's influences. Much as his name suggests, he is a blunt and unyielding individual, who is not shy with his opinions. More often than not, those statements are reenforced by his trademark hammer.

|| Mesta ||A tribal Xaela with a fiery disposition and an affinity for ice magic, Mesta is difficult to wrangle and easy to anger. Keen for battle and riding that edge, the adventerous woman is often on the prowl for a new challenge, new prey. This can make her fairly reckless at times.

First Glance
They are, without a doubt, a pair of predators. One large and imposing, drawing attention to himself purposefully with steps made loud by his armor and demeanor, weapon on open display at his hip, warning off any who would even bother trying to challenge him. And the silent huntress, all grace and languid confidence, observant and reactive. In public, they are quite open with their signals of belonging to one another, most often with entwined tails.

Khazal - The Hound:Their frosty pup. Their chaotic child. Their hound of mayhem. This is Khazal.Though he can often be difficult to control, the hoarhound is unflinchingly loyal. Uneasy in crowded places, he can be bribed and distracted with food. It is typically unwise to leave the canine alone in a room in which food can be reached. He has an odd affinity for getting into places no beast without opposable thumbs should be able to.

|| The Meeting ||While one typically would not search for any type of romance in an a night club, that was precisely where Krass and Mesta's story began. By liberty of her role as a dancer, the encounter was a salacious one without any salacious acts actually taking place. They part ways with the spark of interest ignited, but for more reason than just lust. An outing to the gladiator pits in Ul'dah reveals a slew of shared interests, and in lieu of a mutual loved one in danger, Mesta soon accompanies him and his crew on a mission to save them.It is little surprise that she joins the crew of the Esoteric in earnest afterwards.|| The Chemistry ||Be it in battle or between the sheets, the pair harmonize with one another almost perfectly. Whereas Mesta finds that she is able to fully rely on him, Krass finds himself driven to his full potential by his fiery counterpart. Combined, they are a force to be reckoned with.

|| The Power Couple ||The Guardian and the Glass Cannon - a potent and deadly combo.

Stolen away from the Steppe as a child and tossed into the arenas of Ul'dah, Krass was forced into a life of violence and scraping along by the skin of his teeth. It hardened him into a brutal warrior who makes no concessions and fights to kill.
